Surrounded by flowers and sunshine,
Rolling in laughter and love,
The smell of summer wafting through the air,
And wispy clouds floating above.
Traditions can make weddings seem stuffy and honestly not fun at all!
There are some wedding traditions, though, that you can tell were made to make the celebration of love fun.
Ari and Sammy’s Jewish wedding was hands down an amazing celebration of love.
From the handmade ketubah and huppah, to the exchange of rings, to the breaking of the glass, and the horah, their wedding was celebrated with so much love, joy, and faith it was emotionally overwhelming.
I’m sure I cried two or three times and I know everyone around was overwhelmed by the joy and love.
I am so thrilled to have been able to celebrate with Ari and Sammy and their adoring families and friends.
This was a wedding that will never be forgotten.
Dad makes the best eggs, mom puts silly things in the freezer, and the best place to vacation is Tennessee, or that’s what Tristan thinks!
He also doesn’t kiss girls because he’s only in the fourth grade and I hear he loves helping with wood pile.
It was a fun spring night spent in the gorgeous Indiana country side with this adorable family.
I’m so happy it’s finally warm here in Michigan and my season is beginning!
I used to say that I didn’t have season’s, that photography is a year ’round career, and it is but this year I needed some time off to recoup from a very crazy 2016.,
Then the weather this year has been insane! First it’s hot then it’s cold, it’s yes and it’s no, it’s up and it’s down. For real, this Michigan spring has been a seesaw of change!
So, I was extremely happy when I finally got to shoot my first session of the spring and I was so thrilled it got to be my super sweet bridal couple, Denim and Jerred and their boys.
I got to introduce some new fun things I’ll be doing with my families and couples this year and I’d say it went well!
I am so in love with their session that I had a hard time choosing what to post as their previews.
What do you think?
Before you know it, Mother’s Day will be upon us and the spring days will be warm and full of activity.
Your children will be running and playing, or running and playing with their children and another year will have gone by.
You will stop and think back to the Mother’s days before this and wonder where the time has gone.
You will look at the beautiful faces of the humans that you made or have taken into your lives and remember the little things they used to do to make smile, laugh, and cry.
Wouldn’t it be great if you had a photo to go with those memories?
I have the perfect one hour package for such an occasion.
You get quality time cuddling and loving your children while I snap away catching all the kisses, laughs, and hugs.
Contact me today to set up a session with your children or your grandchildren.
Heck, surprise a mother in your life with a gift photo session!
They will be forever grateful!
